INKED Tattoo Studio is conveniently located on the A30 in the scenic Abbey town of Sherborne, Dorset.

Since opening in 2006 the studio has gained a reputation for consistently producing high quality tattoos as well as offering a comprehensive body piercing service.

All of of our clients can expect a friendly but professional service, with a strictly no attitude or ego approach.

The studio has two tattoo artists covering all styles of work and a specialist body piercer.

We operate by an appointment system for tattooing, although occasional walk-in’s can be accommodated.

Andy Potter is the principal tattoo artist and owner of INKED. He is fully competent at many styles of work, including Japanese, Traditional and New Skool, but specialises in black & grey (realism, portraits, horror etc) and custom designs to give an individual client a truly unique piece.

Cover ups are another particular area of specialty, from hiding an ex-partners name, right through to a bigger design that you just don’t want to live with anymore.

During your initial consultation, he will discuss your ideas with you thoroughly and advise you in an honest and frank manner if he feels that the initial idea will not work or look good.

He wants the final concept for your design to make a great tattoo and he will do his very best to not only meet, but also exceed your expectations.

Andy will NOT work on other artists work, unless covering the old design with a new tattoo and hands and necks will only be tattooed at his discretion.

Shane White is the studios second tattoo artist and currently works on smaller and ‘Off the Wall’ flash designs. He also does freehand tribal designs.

If you are a client who prefers the more traditional approach, we have thousands of high quality tattoo designs to choose or gain ideas from, as we are constantly purchasing and bringing in the latest flash sheets, so our clients have the widest range of choice and variety possible.

ALL Tattooing is strictly for clients over the age of 18 ONLY, with NO exceptions.

Roy Dally is our studios specialist body-piercer and performs all piercing’s of a personal nature and implantations.

Andy’s wife Lou completes the team at INKED as the studio manager.

We only accept cash and cards for payment and require a minimum £10 deposit at the time of booking for ALL appointments.

Serving members of HM Armed Forces receive a discount on ALL tattooing upon production of a valid MOD ID card.

Health & Safety

The studio adheres and operates to strict local authority Health & Safety guidelines.

Equipment is either single use (needles, gloves, ink caps etc) or sterilized to meet hospital grade standards within a vacuum autoclave following ultrasonic cleaning.

All members of staff are fully trained, individually licensed and also qualified in basic first aid for total peace of mind.
